About us Wattlebird Therapy is co-directed and owned by Bec (Psychologist) and Irene (Counsellor) who are looking for another like-minded practitioner to join their team as a psychology contractor. Our practice is small which allows us to show a more human and personalised approach, with flexibility and a policy emphasising work-life balance and sustainable hours. We pride ourselves in promoting a warm and welcoming environment for clients, and have a passion for supporting vulnerable communities, including neurodivergent, queer, gender diverse people, and the disabled community.





Currently we provide therapy under NDIS, Victim Services, Medicare and to private paying clients. We also provide psychological screenings and assessments, including diagnostic and cognitive assessments, and can provide training to upskill clinicians wanting to learn how to conduct these assessments.

About you

We are looking for a Psychologist who holds full registration with AHPRA and is passionate about their work. As we pride ourselves in the safe space we have created, it is crucial that you are comfortable and capable of supporting a range of diverse clients. If you have a speciality or area of interest in psychology, we would love to hear about it!

We are happy for you to be flexible in how you work, and support working from home as well as face-to-face sessions in our office space when available. People with lived experience are encouraged to apply, and we value and celebrate uniqueness and individuality.

Pay: $1,800.00 – $3,000.00 per week
