This permanent role puts you in charge of purchasing and product development for a busy floral wholesaler supplying florists and creative brands across WA.
You’ll lead two Purchasing Specialists and help shape next season’s range, not just tomorrow’s stock.
The details:
- Permanent, full-time - 7.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
- West Leederville, opposite the train station.
- Up to $110,000.00 + super + incentives
What you’ll own
- Forecasting, stock planning and fridge capacity across fresh and non-perishable ranges
- Coaching and aligning two Purchasing Specialists, each with their own supplier portfolio
- Growing grower and supplier relationships, including quarantine, permits and import requirements
- Refreshing non-perishable ranges (vases, pots, packaging, foam), with offshore sourcing and product development
- Using recent dashboards and alerts to spot risk early and back decisions with numbers
What you’ll need
- Experience as a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager or senior buyer in SME, wholesale or FMCG
- Fresh or perishable product experience, so shelf life and timing are second nature
- A head for pricing, freight and margin, with runs on the board improving the P&L;
- Real experience leading or coaching a small team• Bonus points for importation/quarantine exposure and a product-curious streak
