We are looking for a hands-on QAQC Supervisor based in our manufacturing and packaging sites in Belrose.

You must be available to work the night shift from 10:30pm to 6:35am from Monday to Friday.

This is a key role responsible for ensuring that our production and packaging operations consistently meet required quality, GMP, food safety and regulatory standards. You will provide hands-on leadership and support to the QA/QC team while working closely with Production and other departments to identify and resolve quality issues in real time.

The successful candidate will be confident making decisions on the manufacturing floor, have strong attention to detail and be comfortable working independently during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and support the QA/QC team on night shift, ensuring effective coverage across production and packaging.
- Coordinate and oversee in-process quality checks and inspections.
- Ensure production and packaging activities comply with approved specifications, procedures and GMP requirements.
- Review and verify batch manufacturing and packaging documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing and packaging processes.
- Identify, investigate and escalate deviations, non-conformances and quality issues.
- Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct and/or oversee line clearance, start-up and changeover checks.
- Ensure correct raw materials, packaging components, labels and product information are being used.
- Provide guidance and support to Production teams when quality issues arise.
- Escalate significant quality issues to the QA/QC Manager and relevant management.
- Ensure samples are collected, labelled and submitted for testing in accordance with procedures.
- Maintain accurate quality records and ensure documentation is completed within required timeframes.
- Coach, train and develop QA/QC team members to maintain high standards of quality and GMP compliance.




- Support investigations, internal audits, customer complaints and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure appropriate handover of quality matters between night and day shifts.
- Promote a robust quality culture and right-first-time approach across the site.

About You You will be an experienced quality professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is confident leading a team on shift.

You will have

- Previous experience in a QA/QC supervisory or senior quality role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in vitamins and supplements, nutraceutical, food, cosmetics, FMCG or similar regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of GMP, quality systems and manufacturing processes.
- Experience supervising or leading a team.
- Strong problem-solving and investigation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Confidence making quality decisions and escalating issues appropriately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with Production while maintaining quality standards.
- A proactive and practical approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- The ability to work independently and effectively during night shift operations.
