T42 Electrical is looking for an experienced and confident Qualified Electrician to join our growing team. This position would suit an electrician who is comfortable working independently across domestic service, maintenance and installation work.

We take pride in providing premium workmanship, honest advice and an excellent customer experience. Our technicians are expected to genuinely care about getting the job right, keeping customers informed and leaving every home clean and tidy.

Our office is currently located in Worongary and will be relocating to Burleigh in the near future.

About the role

You will work across the Gold Coast, primarily completing domestic electrical service and maintenance work. At T42, we have a strong and supportive team culture. Your responsibilities will include

- Electrical fault-finding and repairs
- Domestic service and maintenance work

- Electrical installations and upgrades
- Switchboard upgrades and safety-related work

- Assessing customers’ electrical needs
- Providing clear and honest recommendations
- Offering customers suitable repair and upgrade options
- Taking payment on completion of work
- Completing accurate job notes, photographs and documentation
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked van
- Treating customers’ homes with care and leaving work areas clean and tidy
- Supporting apprentices and other team members where required
- Representing T42 professionally in every customer interaction

Our normal working hours are approximately 7:30am–3:30pm, although hours may vary depending on scheduled work. Some earlier starts will be required for team meetings and training. The opportunity to work overtime is available, and a willingness to assist with overtime when needed is preferred.

About you

To be successful, you must:

- Be a fully qualified electrician
- Hold a current Queensland electrical licence
- Have solid domestic electrical experience
- Be confident completing service, maintenance and fault-finding work
- Be comfortable working independently
- Hold a current driver’s licence




- Have strong communication and customer service skills
- Take pride in your workmanship and presentation
- Be reliable, organised and accountable
- Complete job notes, photographs and paperwork accurately
- Be committed to electrical safety and high-quality work
- Be interested in learning and developing your career

Experience with on-site quoting, presenting options and taking customer payments is preferred but not essential. Full training in the T42 process will be provided. Dual-trade electricians, including those with air-conditioning qualifications and experience, are also encouraged to apply.
