We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to shape our QA function, strengthen our testing practices, and help our development and project teams deliver reliable, high-quality software and customer experiences.

The role

Reporting to the Development Manager, you’ll lead a QA team while staying hands-on. You’ll work closely with Developers, Project Managers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to plan and oversee testing, manage quality risks, and continuously improve our QA approach across multiple projects.

What the role involves

- Lead and develop the QA team- coach and support your team, build capability and ensure QA resources are effectively planned across concurrent projects.
- Own our QA approach - establish and improve testing processes, standards, documentation and practices that support consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Oversee testing and release readiness - coordinate manual, automated, integration, regression, and UAT, monitor defects and quality risks, and provide clear recommendations on release readiness.
- Build a stronger automation capability - define and scale our test automation approach, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, coverage and confidence in our releases.
- Drive quality through collaboration and insight - work across technical and business teams, guide UAT, communicate testing outcomes and use QA metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

What we’re looking for You’re an experienced QA professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with people leadership. You bring structure without unnecessary process, can see the bigger picture, and are confident influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key experience

- 5+ years in software QA, testing or a related discipline, including 2+ years leading,



mentoring or coordinating a QA team or function.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation and defect management practices.
- Hands-on capability across manual and automated testing, including test planning, regression, integration and UAT.
- A track record of improving QA processes and practices within a growing organisation.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments and across multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency with testing and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Monday.com or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Software Testing, Project Management or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent practical experience.
