Karri Karrak Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a welcoming, organised and professional Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role is ideal for someone seeking work during school hours with a family friendly schedule.
As the first point of contact for visitors, community members and stakeholders, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing a positive and professional experience for everyone who interacts with the Corporation.

About the Role The Receptionist will provide administrative and reception support to the Corporation, ensuring the office operates efficiently and professionally.
You will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering telephone enquiries, managing office communications and providing administrative assistance to support the delivery of programs and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for visitors, community members and stakeholders.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and email enquiries.
- Welcome visitors and maintain a professional and culturally respectful reception area.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and managing meeting room bookings.
- Provide general administrative support including filing, scanning, photocopying and document preparation.
- Receive, distribute and manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate ordering when required.
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Support staff with administrative tasks and organisational activities.
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy of information at all times.

Essential Criteria
Applicants should demonstrate
1. Previous experience in a reception, administration or customer service role.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Professional presentation and interpersonal skills.
7. High level of confidentiality and discretion.
8. Current Western Australian C Class Driver's Licence.
The successful applicant will be asked to provide a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working within a community, Aboriginal or not-for-profit organisation.
- Experience maintaining office records and administrative systems.
- First Aid Certificate.
