Recruiter / Junior Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist (Entry / Junior Level)Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic, articulate, and candidate-focused Recruiter / Junior Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist (Entry / Junior Level) to join our growing talent acquisition team. In this entry-to-junior position, you will play a key role in executing end-to-end recruitment pipelines, identifying top-tier talent, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Working closely with Talent Acquisition Managers, HR Business Partners, and Hiring Managers across corporate functions, you will assist in job posting, active candidate sourcing, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating selection logistics.
Responsibilities include leveraging professional networks, job boards, and social media channels to source candidates, conducting initial phone/video screenings, tracking applicants through our ATS, gathered feedback, and assisting with job offer extensions and pre-onboarding communication. Success in this position requires active listening skills, high persuasion and interpersonal capability, strong organization skills under high-volume hiring targets, and a passion for matching qualified talent with the right career opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Recruitment & Sourcing Basics: Foundational understanding of full-cycle recruitment workflows, candidate sourcing strategies, job board distribution, and boolean search operators.
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS): Working knowledge or hands-on experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Zoho Recruit, or LinkedIn Recruiter) to manage candidate pipelines.
- Candidate Screening & Assessment: Ability to review resumes against job descriptions, evaluate core competencies, and conduct initial phone/video screening interviews to assess role fit, salary expectations, and cultural alignment.
- Interview Logistics & Coordination: Strong calendar management skills to coordinate multi-stage interview schedules across candidates and busy hiring managers using Google Calendar or Outlook.
- Communication & Candidate Engagement: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, welcoming, and professional approach to candidate outreach and relationship building.
- Spreadsheet & Reporting Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets to track hiring pipelines, maintain recruitment trackers, monitor time-to-fill metrics, and prepare recruitment status updates.
- Market Research & Networking: Ability to conduct talent market research, identify industry hiring trends, build talent pools for recurring roles, and engage passive candidates professionally.
- Confidentiality & Compliance: High personal integrity and discretion when handling sensitive candidate information, compensation details, and employment verification checks.
- Qualified Attributes: High energy, goal-driven mindset, resilience in high-volume hiring environments, excellent prioritization skills, and a strong collaborative orientation.
