JS Careers is a leading Australian recruitment and executive search firm specialising in the financial service sector. As a result of an increasing flow of opportunities from our clients, we are expanding our recruitment team that support clients with sourcing talent across technology and cyber security.

The role will provide significant exposure to both clients and candidates and will involve the full recruitment and executive search lifecycle, including:

- Building and developing trusted relationships with senior clients across investment banking, private equity, venture capital, funds management and corporate markets.
- Taking detailed recruitment briefs and developing a strong understanding of each client's business, culture and requirements.
- Managing end-to-end recruitment and executive search processes, from initial briefing through to offer and placement.
- Identifying and engaging high-calibre professionals through targeted headhunting, networking, referrals and market mapping.
- Conducting detailed candidate interviews and assessments and providing clients with informed, market-led advice.
- Advising clients and candidates on market trends, remuneration, talent availability and career development.
- Developing new client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the technology and cyber security division.
- Building a strong personal network and market reputation within the financial services communities.

For candidates operating at Principal level , there will also be the opportunity to mentor junior consultants, take ownership of key client relationships and play a significant role in shaping the strategy and growth of the division.

Who We're Looking For

We are interested in speaking with:





Experienced recruitment consultants who have a proven track record in financial services recruitment and are looking to move into a more specialist executive search environment.

We are also open to candidates from other markets who have strong client-facing and commercial capabilities and are considering a transition into the recruitment sector.

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:

- Previous recruitment or executive search experience across the technology or cyber security domain.
- Strong commercial acumen and an ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, interviewing and influencing skills.
- A genuine interest in the technology, cyber and financial services industry.
- The ability to operate autonomously while contributing to a high-performing team.
- A strong work ethic, resilience and an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
- A tertiary qualification.
