About the Role

This is a rare opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant seeking a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our tight-knit, high-performing team in Perth CBD.

You will manage a 360-degree Engineering desk, partnering with deeply established public sector and commercial accounts that Randstad has serviced for over 10 years. With a strong historical foundation, recent wins in tier-one mining, and untapped permanent recruitment potential, you will have a warm approach to clients who already know and trust our brand. Backed by a supportive Manager with over 20 years of recruitment experience, you’ll have all the tools, guidance, and autonomy to deliver immediate results.

Your Responsibilities

- 360° Account Management & Sales: Nurture existing warm public sector accounts while proactively expanding commercial engineering and mining opportunities.
- Candidate Sourcing & Delivery: Source, interview, and match technical engineering talent, leveraging transferable skill sets across electrical, mechanical, and technical domains.
- Client Engagement & Meetings: Conduct face-to-face and virtual client meetings to qualify technical requirements and expand account footprint.
- End-to-End Delivery: Partner with clients and candidates to deliver seamless recruitment solutions across both temporary and permanent vacancies.
- Activity & Pipeline Discipline: Manage administrative duties, database hygiene, and recruitment activity using market-leading systems.

What We're Looking For

- Recruitment Experience: A minimum of 18 months of recruitment agency experience (open to backgrounds in engineering, technical, trades & labour, or general agency environments).
- Commercial Drive & Curiosity: Hungry, collaborative, and genuinely passionate about delivering quality recruitment outcomes.
- Team-First Mindset: A down-to-earth professional who thrives in a highly supportive, banter-friendly, and non-siloed team environment.
- Logistics & Location: Based in Perth with full working rights in Australia (valid driver’s licence preferred, but corporate Uber accounts and team travel options are provided).
