About the role

You will be joining a recruitment business providing contract nursing recruitment solutions within the Healthcare realm – across Mental Health, Remote Area Nursing, Hospitals, Metro and Aged Care. You will leverage off Verus People's established "preferred supplier" status across most states and territories, your team counterparts, plus a database of candidates to get going quickly. You will also be seeking out recent public and private client opportunities, Australia wide.

You will be joining and working alongside knowledgeable and experienced recruitment professionals. Verus has a structured pathway all the way to Director and offers the support, training and coaching to get you there.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end contract recruitment services for the placement of clinically qualified and compliant nurses for client contract staffing requirements

- Establish proactive, professional and long-lasting relationships with all existing and new candidates and clients to ensure the recruitment process is delivered efficiently

- Develop candidate acquisition strategies to maximise attracting the required quantity and quality of candidates through direct sourcing channels, advertising, headhunting, candidate referrals and networking opportunities

- Research and fully immerse yourself into your healthcare niche – be it Hospitals, Remote Area Nursing, Mental Health, Metro, Aged Care and be a knowledge expert in your field

- Client and business development across existing, lapsed and prospect public and private clientele

- Partnership with candidates and clients to understand all their needs

- Maintain a recruitment service that is second to none for all stakeholders

About you

- Self-motivated and aspire to drive successful outcomes in the workplace





- Passionate about the world of Healthcare Recruitment and have proven experience in this field

- Experienced in providing full contract 360 recruitment solutions in an agency environment

- Confident with business development and building relationships over the phone as well as in person

- Skilled in motivating fellow teammates and cultivating a culture of comradery

- Amazing at building rapport, relationships and reputation
- A proactive person who prides themselves on finding their own solutions
- An outstanding communicator – both verbal and written

- Able to forge relationships with all internal and external stakeholders

- Able to work in Australia with no work restrictions, with full working eligibility - Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Defacto
