About the position

We are looking for an experienced Migration Agent to join our growing Sydney team. You'll be responsible for end to end visa applications and client case management. While there is support available, this position is best suited for someone with at least 1 year of relevant experience. This role is very vibrant and has plenty of challenges to look forward to.

About you

You must be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. You must be able to empathise with the clients while maintaining the utmost professionalism. You must also have an active OMARA registration. Your experience dealing with migrant communities will be highly regarded. You are someone who takes pride in being a part of the greater Australian migration story.

Responsibilities

- Providing advice and assistance to clients for visa options,



eligibility prospects and merits of applications including all matters associated with visa applications as well as Departmental compliance and monitoring requirements
- Preparing, collating and lodging (including e-lodging where relevant) visa applications and supporting documentation with the Department of Home Affairs and other immigration authorities in and outside Australia
- Managing and monitoring applications with immigration authorities until the matter is finalised
- Managing a high volume of visa applications in/outbound
- Liaising with clients, visa applicants and government authorities including the Department of Home Affairs and other immigration authorities in and outside Australia
- Managing client and/or visa applicant expectations and tailoring advice to the specific needs of the clients
- Creating and maintaining client relationships and participating in, contributing to, and undertaking new and existing business development activities
- Acting as per the Code of Conduct as administered by the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA)

Skills and Experience

- Must be a Registered Migration Agent (RMA)
- Experience dealing with student visas, temporary graduate visa, skilled migration visas, work visas and regional migration visas highly regarded
- Must be adept to technology and use database systems as required (LEAP Migration Manager)
- Robust interpersonal, time management and planning skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work within a deadline and manage competing priorities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
