This is a full-time position in a brand-new warehouse facility, offering a later start than many traditional warehouse roles - 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. The two key areas of this position are Goods Receiving and High Reach Forklift Operation. You'll take responsibility for incoming stock - unloading deliveries, checking goods against purchase orders, identifying discrepancies, receipting stock and ensuring everything is put away correctly. You'll also regularly operate a High Reach Forklift, putting pallets away, retrieving stock and replenishing picking locations. While Receiving and High Reach are the primary responsibilities, this is an all-round warehouse position. You'll work across the warehouse as required, including Pick & Pack, Stock Replenishment, Dispatch, Inventory Control and general warehouse duties.

Key responsibilities

- Receive and unload incoming supplier deliveries.
- Check goods against purchase orders, packing slips and supplier documentation.
- Verify product codes, descriptions and quantities.
- Identify shortages, incorrect stock and other discrepancies.
- Receipt stock accurately into the warehouse system.
- Label and allocate stock to the correct locations. Coolroom,



Freezer or Ambient.
- Ensure received stock is put away promptly.
- Operate High Reach Forklift for pallet put-away, retrieving pallets from racking, stock replenishment, and moving and relocating stock.
- Pick customer orders accurately, check products and quantities, pack orders safely and appropriately, and assist with priority orders.

About you

- Strong Goods Receiving experience.
- Proven High Reach Forklift experience.
- Previous warehouse / storeperson experience.
- Experience checking incoming goods against purchase orders.
- Stock put-away and replenishment experience.
- Cold chain logistics
- Working in Ambient, Coolroom and Freezer environments.
- Experience working with high-level pallet racking.
- Good inventory and stock-control knowledge.
- Positive computer skills and confidence using warehouse systems.
