About the Role

Join HiQ Group as a Plant Operator, where you’ll play a key role in safe and efficient site operations. This hands‑on role involves operating plant and equipment, supporting daily site activities, and maintaining a strong safety focus.

Main Responsibilities

- Operate plant, machinery, tools, and vehicles as directed
- Perform labouring and general site duties as required
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings
- Complete daily pre-start checks on plant and equipment
- Carry out basic maintenance in line with procedures




- Monitor and report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions
- Ensure unsafe equipment is tagged out and not used
- Follow all Safe Work Procedures and site inductions
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Communicate equipment issues or process concerns to management
- Accurately clock in and out each shift
- Support site operations with additional duties as required
