Hotel Receptionist The hotel receptionist is responsible for ensuring a pleasant and efficient experience for all hotel guests during their stay. The receptionist will provide excellent customer service, handle guest check-ins and check-outs, answer guest questions and concerns, and perform various administrative tasks as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel and assist with check-in process
Provide information to guests about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
Respond to guest inquiries and concerns via phone, email, or in person
Handle guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
Process guest payments and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
Assist with room reservations and maintain accurate records of room availability
Collaborate with other hotel staff, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest needs are met
Ensure the reception area is clean,
organized, and well-stocked with supplies
Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to privacy and security
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred
Previous experience in a customer service role required; hotel receptionist experience preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Solid attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and basic computer skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Mandarin language skills(spoken and written) will be considered an advantage
