We're hiring: Retoucher and Visual AI Specialist — Lumitas, Silverwater

Lumitas is a creative content, PR and martech company partnering with some of Australia's best-known retailers and brands.

We're looking for a Retoucher and Visual AI Specialist to join our Creative Services team, someone who moves seamlessly between precision retouching and generative AI tools to craft finished images.

Whether you're a retoucher already fluent in AI generation, or an AI-native visual creative with responsible retouching chops, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll own:

- Deliver high-end retouching, colour correction, colour matching and compositing across print and digital assets.

- Bring creative briefs and mark-ups to life, combining photography, video and AI-generated elements to produce seamless, photorealistic results.

- Manage retouching and visual AI requirements from briefing and pre-production through to final delivery.

- Partner with producers, photographers, videographers and creatives to turn ambitious ideas into achievable production solutions.

- Maintain exceptional quality and consistency, securing internal approval before work is delivered.





- Identify scope or cost changes early and help streamline workflows to improve efficiency.

- Share your expertise, mentor junior team members and help grow Lumitas’ retouching and visual AI capability.

What you'll bring:

- 5+ years’ professional retouching experience and at least 2 years’ hands-on experience generating AI imagery and video.

- Advanced Photoshop skills, with a strong portfolio demonstrating polished, photorealistic work.

- Expert colour-management knowledge across print and digital media.

- Practical experience with visual AI platforms and emerging tools.

- Strong working knowledge of photography production; video-production experience is highly regarded.

- An exceptional eye for detail, craft and consistency.

- The curiosity to explore new technology and find smarter ways to solve production challenges.

- A calm, adaptable and collaborative approach, with the confidence to communicate clearly and build trusted relationships.
