ABOUT THE COMPANY.
A well regarded Civil Contractor with a solid reputation for delivering quality infrastructure projects valued between $10m and $30m. On the back of recent growth and a run of new project wins, they are now seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to join the team.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
Reporting closely to the Project Manager, you will take full ownership of safety across site, driving compliance with all protocols and playing an active role in the project's risk management framework. You'll be supported by a professional and collaborative team that genuinely values teamwork and continuous improvement.
DUTIES.
- Manage on site safety and ensure compliance with legislation and company standards
- Support the development and rollout of safety management plans
- Carry out regular inspections, audits and toolbox talks
- Prepare risk assessments and incident reports
- Offer guidance and feedback to lift safety performance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related discipline
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role within civil construction
- Strong communication and reporting capability
- Exposure to Transport NSW or Sydney Water projects will be highly regarded
