The Role:Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, the Merchandise Assistant will support the Category Team in the growth and profitability of a specific category, whilst having a strong focus on marketing activities, administrative processes, and data analytics.This position is a Secondment role for 12 months.Duties include:Support all members of the category teamAssist with loading of images and catalogue layoutsGeneral marketing supportAdminister processes relating to the categoryManage product data related activities including vendor cost changes, clearance excess reporting, product data and pricing maintenanceAssist with retail and trade promotional builds and ensure deadlines are metAssist with event and promotional planningData base managementCompile weekly reportingAbout You:Previous marketing administration experienceFamiliar with marketing principles or exposure to retail/trade marketingHigh level excel skillsRetail experience desirableStrong organisational skills and able to juggle a number of constantly changing prioritiesGood attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAble to work effectively without close supervision, with a flexible approachStudies in marketing/merchandise an advantageLooking after you:We are committed to ensuring our people are well looked after.
