About the role

Castle Hill Camera House is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sales Associate to join our team in Castle Hill NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales within our retail environment. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our business, helping customers find the perfect photography and imaging products to meet their needs whilst building lasting relationships and contributing to our store's success.

What you'll be doing

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying their photography and imaging needs
- Demonstrate product knowledge and provide expert recommendations on cameras, lenses, lighting equipment and related accessories
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing retail setting by restocking shelves and displays
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and courteously
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team performance goals
- Stay current with product information and upcoming releases within the photography industry
- Build customer relationships and encourage repeat business through exceptional service
- Support inventory management and assist with stocktaking activities

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a retail sales environment, preferably within consumer electronics, photography or a similar specialist retail sector
- Strong passion for photography, cameras or imaging technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers




- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and work towards individual goals
- Sound numeracy skills and competence with point-of-sale and retail systems
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays as required
