About the role: We have created a new position for an experienced Carpet & Timber Flooring Sales Consultant to join our warehouse at Clayton. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the main function of this role is to provide our customers with superior levels of service in order to achieve business growth.
Daily duties would include but not be limited to:
- Assist customers with their enquiries
- Provide knowledgeable and accurate information on current stock
- Build strong client relationships,
- Promote current products/services to existing customers
- Play a key role in the ongoing success of our operation
About You Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar position you will have/be:
- Full Australian working rights or hold permanent residency
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar position involving retail sales of carpet and/or timber flooring is essential
- Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
- Ability to adapt in a quick-paced environment
