Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Sales Executive / Sales Representative. In this position, the team member will identify and pursue opportunities to increase visibility and sales for Dream Matter Labs’ titles, including building and managing a pipeline of potential partners, distributors, and customers.

Daily responsibilities include researching relevant markets and platforms, reaching out to prospects via email, social media, and calls, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as influencers, media outlets, and gaming communities. The role involves preparing basic sales materials, tracking performance metrics, providing regular updates to the team, and collaborating with marketing and development to align sales efforts with game releases and promotional campaigns.

The Sales

Executive / Sales Representative will also gather feedback from players and partners to help refine sales strategies and contribute to the studio’s overall growth.

Qualifications

- Sales and relationship-building skills, including prospecting, outreach, negotiation, and follow-up with partners and customers.




- Basic marketing and community engagement skills, such as collaborating on campaigns, supporting social media efforts, and understanding gaming audiences.
- Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and professional online etiquette.
- Research and analytical skills to identify target markets, evaluate opportunities, and track sales performance using straightforward metrics or tools.
- Interest in video games, particularly narrative-driven and indie titles; familiarity with platforms like Steam and digital distribution is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours effectively, and collaborate with a small, growing team.
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles is a plus, but motivated candidates with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
- Comfort using online collaboration tools (e.g., email, chat, project management platforms) and basic office software for reports and documentation.
