The Position
- Accountable to the State Manager and for the success of the sales division
- Manage and mentor the new business development team
- Develop and implement sales strategies and processes
- Support and maintain existing customer relationships
- Continue business growth with established blue chip client base
- Prepare and present tenders and proposals incorporating all supply chain service capabilities
- Facilitate and report outcomes of weekly sales meetings
The Requirements
- Proven track record in sales and marketing within the Australian international freight forwarding and logistics industry
- Extensive experience in all aspects of air and ocean freight,
logistics and transportation procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to develop and manage a high performing team
- Have a proven track record in people management and best practice
- Ability to adapt and work in a rapidly changing and evolving structure
