Key Ingredients for Success

We are seeking an energetic and commercially driven Sales Manager to accelerate growth of the La Rose Noire portfolio, working closely with chefs, distributors and food‑service operators across NSW.

This role suits an experienced food‑service sales professional, or a chef/hospitality leader looking to transition into sales, who is passionate about premium pastry and thrives on building meaningful customer relationships.

You’ll bring the essential ingredients together to help our brand rise. In this role you will:

- Manage and grow an established customer base, building strong long‑term relationships and sustainable sales growth.

- Secure current business through proactive prospecting, cold calling and regular customer visits.

- Develop deep technical knowledge of the La Rose Noire range, product applications and broader patisserie market trends.

- Conduct product demonstrations — including baking demos across the LRN pastry range — always adhering to hygienic practices.

- Collaborate with sales,



marketing and supply chain teams to achieve state and national sales targets.

- Partner closely with distributor networks to expand regional sales and support joint field activity.

- Represent the brand at food shows, distributor presentations and industry events.

- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipelines, customer activity logs and daily reports.

- Provide timely insights and reporting to the international La Rose Noire team.

- Consistently uphold Mayers Fine Foods and La Rose Noire brand standards with professionalism.

The ingredients you need The right mix of skills, passion and commercial focus. You will also bring:

- Proven experience in food‑service sales with strong knowledge of chocolate, patisserie or bakery products; a chef background is highly regarded.

- Confidence influencing and negotiating with chefs, buyers and distributors.

- High levels of organization, discipline and resilience, with the ability to self‑manage a large territory.

- Commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Strong analytical thinking, planning and problem‑solving skills.

- Exceptional presentation skills — comfortable in both a commercial kitchen and a boardroom.

- Outstanding communication and relationship‑building ability.

- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales data analysis to forecast growth accurately.

- Willingness to travel throughout NSW to engage customers and drive results.
