DENZA Canberra is seeking a Sales Trainee to join our team and help introduce the DENZA brand to the Canberra region.

DENZA is a premium luxury automotive brand owned by BYD and launched in Australia in late 2025. As a next-generation electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle manufacturer, DENZA is redefining automotive luxury through cutting-edge technology, sophisticated design and a customer-first approach.

This is not a traditional automotive sales role and prior automotive experience is not essential. Candidates with backgrounds in customer service, hospitality, retail or other people-focused industries are encouraged to apply.

About the Role Based in our soon-to-be-refurbished DENZA showroom in Fyshwick, you will work alongside our Product Specialists to deliver an exceptional customer experience and assist customers in finding the vehicle best suited to their lifestyle and needs.

You will combine strong communication skills, a passion for technology and a customer-first mindset to create a seamless and premium customer journey—from initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

- Developing a comprehensive understanding of DENZA vehicles, technology and brand values.
- Building your sales and customer engagement skills through hands-on experience and mentoring.
- Participating in ongoing product and sales training, both online and in person.
- Welcoming customers to the showroom and managing incoming enquiries.
- Supporting Product Specialists with vehicle presentations and test drives.
- Working collaboratively with the DENZA Canberra team to gain broad industry experience.
- Representing the DENZA brand with professionalism, enthusiasm and integrity.




- Continuously expanding your knowledge of EV and PHEV technology, industry developments and market trends.

What We're Looking For

- A genuine passion for customer experience and emerging technology.
- Strong computer literacy and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in building rapport and engaging with a diverse range of customers.
- A proactive, positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality or a similar customer-facing environment.
- A current and valid driver's licence.

Unlike many retail and hospitality environments, DENZA Canberra operates six days per week with trading hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Saturday with team members working on a five-day roster.
