Based in their Altona Stone Gallery, this role is integral to the success of the sales team and overall customer experience. You will provide administration support, coordinate customer orders, manage sales documentation and assist customers both in person and remotely, ensuring every interaction reflects the premium standards of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the sales team with quotations, samples, project documentation and day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Process orders accurately and manage projects through the full sales lifecycle and coordinate delivery schedules and maintain communication with customers regarding order status and timelines.
- Create and manage pick slips and liaise with warehouse staff to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Handle phone, email and in-person enquiries in a professional and timely manner.




- Monitor stock availability and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with gallery presentation, merchandising updates and maintaining the showroom to the highest standard.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Previous administration, customer service or sales support experience.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience processing orders, payments and customer records.
- Excellent Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a genuine commitment to customer service.
- Experience within building products, interiors, construction or design industries highly regarded but not essential.
