At InFocus Radiology, we know that the patient experience begins with our administration team. Whether welcoming patients at reception or assisting them over the phone, our staff play a vital role in ensuring every interaction is professional, supportive and efficient.
We are currently expanding our administration team and are seeking enthusiastic and patient-focused individuals to join us in reception and phone hub roles. Reception positions available at all four of our sites, and also within our dedicated phone hub centre in Wallsend, supporting patient enquiries and bookings.
Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, offering an exciting chance to join a supportive team committed to delivering exceptional service and patient care.

About Us
Located across the Hunter Region, InFocus Radiology has four practices in Warners Bay, Belmont, Wallsend and Cessnock. We are committed to working collaboratively with referrers and supporting our community by delivering affordable, high-quality imaging services in a warm and empathetic environment.
Our recently introduced dedicated phone hub centre at Wallsend supports our practice by managing patient bookings and enquiries, ensuring efficient service and improved patient access to care.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may vary depending on whether you are working in reception or the phone hub, but may include:
- Providing friendly and qualified customer service to patients in person and over the phone
- Managing patient enquiries and appointment bookings
- Coordinating schedules to optimise patient flow and reduce wait times
- Maintaining accurate patient records in both paper and digital systems
- Assisting with billing and invoicing processes, including familiarity with the Medical Benefits Schedule (MBS)
- Responding to patient enquiries via phone and email
- Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to support daily operations
Skills & Experience
- Positive, skilled attitude and strong customer service focus
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Professional presentation and friendly demeanour
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge within medical imaging administration
- Previous administration, medical reception, contact centre or customer service experience
- Medical typing skills
- Basic knowledge of the Medical Advantages Schedule (MBS)
- Experience using Kestral – Karisma RIS software
Training will be provided to support the successful candidate.
