*The Role An opportunity has become available for a Security Operations Manager to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-robust team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Establish a leadership and management framework that promotes the principles of quality security services

Manage, analyse and interpret the security incident reporting system

Provide specialist advice in relation to complex security matters

Manage subordinate staff located at different facilities including staff allocation, rostering, performance appraisal and development

About you To be successful in this position you will require:

Possession of Queensland Security Licence is highly desirable

Possession of a minimum of a Certificate II in Security Operations is highly desirable

Drivers Licence

Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B

Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required

Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $109,262 - $118,881 per annum

and facilities from physical hazards by preventing, detecting, and responding to threats using access controls, surveillance systems and alarms to continuously monitor our people and our facilities.

The Protective Services Department safeguard a secure environment for patients, staff and visitors within Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service facilities through incident response, loss prevention, risk assessments, and monitoring suspicious activity.
