Slamm Services is seeking an experienced Tradesman Carpenter / Concreter to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong carpentry and concreting experience who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working across a variety of civil construction projects.
About the Role
Working as part of our civil construction team, you will be involved in a range of works across Mackay and the Bowen Basin, including:
- Formwork, boxing and preparation for concrete works
- Concrete placement, finishing and associated works
- Construction of slabs, footings and other concrete structures
- General carpentry and minor building works
- Civil construction and site works as required
- Reading and working from drawings and specifications
- Working safely and efficiently alongside supervisors, operators and other trades
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a relevant carpentry trade qualification
- Has demonstrated concreting and formwork experience
- Has experience within civil, commercial, industrial or mining environments
- Produces a high standard of workmanship and takes pride in the finished product
- Is reliable,
self-motivated and comfortable working as part of a team
- Has a strong commitment to safety
- Holds a current Driver Licence and Construction White Card
- Holds relevant site competencies/tickets where applicable
Experience working on mine sites or within heavy industry will be highly regarded.
