We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining and improving tooling, dies, and plant equipment used in layflat hose production. This hands‑on role suits a proactive tradesperson who enjoys problem-solving, precision machining, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

- Manufacture, modify, and repair dies, mandrels, and specialised tooling
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tooling performance
- Maintain accurate tooling and modification records
- Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance per schedules
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning
- Operate manual and/or CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and drills
- Fit, assemble, and align mechanical components
