Opportunities: Up to 2 positions available The Opportunity AusJobz is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst - Buying/Purchasing for a 12-month contract opportunity based in Perth CBD.
Working within a fast-paced procurement environment, you will provide tactical procurement and purchasing support across a broad range of purchase-to-pay activities. This role will have a strong focus on procurement compliance, stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, reporting, data quality and continuous improvement.
This chance would suit an experienced procurement or purchasing professional who is confident working autonomously, navigating SAP and resolving day-to-day purchasing and process issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support purchase-to-pay (P2P) activities
- Provide tactical procurement and purchasing support to internal stakeholders
- Ensure purchasing activities align with procurement policies, processes and compliance requirements
- Investigate and resolve purchasing, supplier and transactional issues
- Manage competing priorities within a high-volume operational environment
- Support procurement reporting, analytics and data quality initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate procurement and purchasing information within relevant systems
- Provide practical solutions to recurring and moderately complex procurement issues
About You To be successful, you will bring:
- SAP purchasing experience – mandatory
- Previous procurement and/or purchasing experience
- Strong understanding of purchase-to-pay processes
- Experience working in a high-volume operational environment
- Robust stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
