The Chance An excellent opportunity now exists for an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join the firm’s Brisbane insurance team.

You’ll work with highly experienced senior practitioners on a varied portfolio of public liability and general liability claims, acting for major insurers, corporate insureds and other sophisticated clients.

The role offers a strong mix of autonomy, client contact, technically interesting matters and opportunities to mentor more junior lawyers.

The work will include

✔ Complex public liability claims

✔ Personal injury and property damage matters

✔ Multi-party liability disputes

✔ High-value and catastrophic injury claims

✔ Indemnity and coverage issues

✔ Claims involving construction, property and other commercial settings

✔ Mediations, negotiations and court proceedings

About You

✅ Strong experience in defendant insurance, particularly public liability





✅ Senior Associate or Special Counsel level experience

✅ Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills

✅ Strong client relationship and stakeholder management capability

✅ A practical, commercially focused approach to claims

✅ An interest in mentoring and developing junior lawyers

✅ Collaborative, approachable and solutions-focused
