Your new company

Our client is a well-established property developer delivering high-quality residential developments across South East Queensland. Due to the commencement of a significant residential project on the Gold Coast, an prospect has arisen for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator / Project Manager to join their in-house delivery team.

Your new role

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a key role in managing the commercial, contractual, design, and project delivery functions throughout the construction phase of a landmark residential development.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage contract administration activities from procurement through to project completion.
- Administer and manage contracts in accordance with AS4000 contract standards.
- Lead subcontractor and supplier procurement, tendering, scope reviews, and negotiations.
- Review tender submissions and ensure alignment with project requirements and budgets.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee design management processes, including review of documentation and coordination of design changes.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, variations, and cost reporting.
- Ensure build costs remain aligned with approved budgets and subcontractor agreements.





What you'll need to succeed

- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator, Project Manager, or similar role within large-scale builder
- Proven experience in design management and reviewing subcontractor scopes and tender submissions.
- Extensive knowledge of AS4000 contracts and construction contract administration.
- Strong commercial acumen with exceptional cost planning and cost management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders within a developer or principal contractor environment.
- High-level communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience using construction management platforms such as Procore, Aconex, or similar.
