The Role XBURO is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team based in the heart of Brisbane. As a member of our Building Services Engineering team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional electrical engineering solutions for our diverse range of clients across Queensland.

Moreover, you will also be provided the opportunity to work with our Project Management team and assist in the delivery of some of Queensland’s most iconic and technically challenging projects.

Responsibilities

- Electrical building services design activities focused on LV power systems, lighting design, security, IT systems, dry fire detection and alarm systems.
- Development of 2D and 3D electrical engineering drawings within the Autodesk suite (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Attend and chair project design meetings with clients to develop, discuss and provide safe, sustainable, and advanced engineering solutions.
- Development of technical engineering documents including specifications and reports.




- Assist our project management team in the delivery of a wide range of unique projects.
- General project administration and document management.
- Lead and mentor our graduate engineers

Skills and Experience

- Be degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or building services related field.
- Be Chartered, Registered, or in the process of working towards.
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD and Revit is desirable
- Proficient in the use of electrical engineering design software such as, Dialux, PowerCAD, Agi32, etc.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office.
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
- Have great pride in your work with a high attention to detail and a great sense of urgency.
- Have excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to develop, manage and maintain great relationships with a diverse range of clients.

About You You will be practical, commercially aware and comfortable working across engineering design and project management.
