Emerge Associates, a leading environmental consulting firm, is seeking a talented Senior Environmental Consultant to join it’s team in Subiaco, WA. Based in our Subiaco office with flexible hybrid working arrangements, you will play a key role in providing expertise in contaminated land assessment and management, as well as acid sulfate soils investigation and remediation. We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our well-established and growing contaminated land team.

This opportunity is available in our Perth office, with the scope of the role tailored to your experience.

This role is ideal for a technically strong consultant who enjoys mentoring others, building client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of a high-performing team.

Working closely with our Directors and Principal Consultants, you will play a key role in project delivery, client relationships, and the ongoing growth and direction of the contaminated land team. You will be supported to influence outcomes, develop people, and help shape the future of our water services offering.

Salary is negotiable subject to qualifications and experience.

What You Will BringEssential: • A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline

- Significant experience in contaminated land management (consulting experience highly regarded)
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and deliver high-quality technical outcomes
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive leadership mindset,



with a genuine interest in mentoring and developing others
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
- High professional and ethical standards
- Full Australian working rights.

Desirable: • Experience in groundwater modelling or hydrogeological assessment

- Experience with landfill gas investigation and risk assessment
- Experience with asbestos containing material management and remediation
- Experience in field investigations and monitoring programs
- Proficiency in GIS and relevant modelling software
- Established client relationships or a track record in business development.
