We're partnering with one of Melbourne's leading event and hospitality groups to recruit a Senior Events & Client Experience Lead. This is an opportunity for an experienced events professional who can seamlessly balance client relationships, event planning, commercial outcomes and operational delivery.

You'll take ownership of premium events from handover through to execution, acting as the key connection between clients, suppliers, sales teams and operational stakeholders. From intimate celebrations to large-scale corporate events, you'll ensure every experience is delivered to an exceptional standard.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Senior Events & Client Experience Lead, you'll manage the end-to-end planning and delivery of events while ensuring clients receive an outstanding experience throughout the entire process.

Your responsibilities will include

- Managing events from confirmed booking through to successful delivery
- Building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Leading planning meetings, detail sessions and venue inspections
- Coordinating suppliers, contractors and event partners
- Preparing detailed event documentation and operational briefs
- Collaborating closely with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution
- Driving revenue through thoughtful upselling and value-add opportunities
- Attending key events and overseeing successful delivery
- Supporting and mentoring team members within the planning function
- Conducting post-event reviews and gathering client feedback
- Contributing ideas, innovation and improvements to enhance the client experience

What We're Looking For





This opportunity will suit a well-rounded events professional who understands every stage of the event journey.

You'll ideally bring

- Proven experience in senior event planning, event production or venue events management
- Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills
- Experience delivering premium events from concept through to execution
- A solid understanding of both event operations and event planning
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and maximise revenue opportunities
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Experience mentoring, guiding or supporting team members
