CBRE is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to take responsibility for day-to-day operations across two assets in a premium Melbourne CBD precinct. This is a hands-on, ownership-focused role for an experienced FM ready to lead from the front, develop a junior team member, and deliver high standards across a varied and interesting portfolio.

This is a 5-month contract with an immediate start. CBRE has a strong pipeline of facilities management (FM) roles in Melbourne, with genuine opportunity for further work on completion.

In this role, you will:

- Manage planned and reactive maintenance programs across both assets, ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with contractual requirements
- Act as the senior operational contact for tenants and stakeholders across both buildings, maintaining strong relationships and a high standard of occupier experience
- Lead and mentor a junior team member, supporting their day-to-day performance and professional development
- Oversee building compliance, WHS obligations, risk management and statutory requirements across your portfolio
- Drive contractor performance across all building services, with a focus on quality, compliance and value
- Manage operational reporting, budgets and service delivery measures, and contribute to broader precinct initiatives

About You





You are an experienced facilities manager with a track record in commercial building operations and the confidence to take ownership of a varied portfolio. You bring robust contractor management skills, a relationship-driven approach, and a genuine interest in developing others.

Your background may include

- Strong commercial facilities management exposure
- Building services or engineering in a complex commercial environment
- Trade-based experience in a multi-tenancy or mixed-use building
- Maintenance coordination or contractor management at a senior level
