Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW for a Senior Government Tenders and Bid Specialist. The specialist leads end-to-end tender and bid processes for government clients, including opportunity identification, bid planning, and submission management.

Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing tender requirements, coordinating input from subject matter experts, drafting and refining proposal content, and ensuring compliance with government procurement standards. The role involves managing bid timelines, maintaining documentation, and collaborating closely with sales, legal, finance, and delivery teams to develop competitive and accurate proposals. The specialist also contributes to bid strategy, maintains a library of reusable content, and supports continuous improvement of tender processes and win rates.

Qualifications





- Demonstrated experience in government tenders and bids, including end-to-end bid management and compliance with public sector procurement frameworks.
- Strong proposal writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, persuasive content tailored to government audiences.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, technical, legal, finance) to gather inputs, validate solution details, and align proposals with organizational strategy.
- Ability to analyze tender documents, develop response outlines, manage bid schedules, and maintain accurate records and version control for all submissions.
- Familiarity with technology, AI, data, cloud, and automation concepts, and the ability to position these solutions in terms of measurable business outcomes for government clients.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail capabilities, with a track record of meeting tight deadlines across multiple concurrent bids.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder management and negotiation in a qualified, multicultural environment.
- Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and shared content repositories).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Law, Public Administration, IT, or a related discipline; equivalent experience in tender and bid management will be considered.
- Previous experience working with Australian Commonwealth, State, or Local Government tender processes and portals is highly beneficial
