Social-first agency WE THE PEOPLE is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Integrated Producer to join our growing team in Melbourne on a part-time, 4-day-per-week basis.

Role Description The Integrated Producer is the person who turns ambition into reality. They bring together creative thinking, production expertise, commercial discipline and cultural awareness to make great ideas happen. They know how to navigate complexity without compromising the work, bring the right people together at the right time, and find a way forward when the unexpected inevitably happens. They are equal parts producer, problem-solver, collaborator and champion of the creative idea.
You’ll be comfortable working across a broad range of integrated projects, from campaigns and content to digital, activations, experiential, print, partnerships and other emerging channels. Team members within the agency will look to you to bring together the right pieces of the puzzle together to deliver Campaigns that drive attention and engagement across channels for our client partners.
This is a role for someone who can move seamlessly between big-picture thinking and detailed execution. You’ll need to be commercially aware, creatively minded and confident navigating complex projects, multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
Core Accountabilities
1. Integrated Production & Project Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end production of integrated campaigns and projects, from initial brief through to final delivery.
- Translate creative ideas into clear, achievable production plans without compromising the creative ambition.
- Manage multiple projects and production streams simultaneously across different channels and disciplines.
- Oversee production processes including pre-production, shoots, post-production, approvals and final delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the required creative and technical standard.
- Maintain clear production documentation, timelines and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all relevant approvals, specifications and deliverables are met at every stage.
2. Creative Partnership
- Work closely with Creative and Client Service teams from the outset to understand the ambition, objectives and requirements of each project.
- Provide production expertise and creative problem-solving throughout the development process.
- Identify opportunities to elevate creative ideas through production craft, technology, talent, partnerships and new approaches.
- Protect the creative intent throughout the production process.
- Balance creative ambition with practical, commercial, technical and timing considerations.
3. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with Client Services and Traffic Manager to ensure projects are appropriately scoped, costed, scheduled and resourced.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders throughout the production process.
- Set clear expectations around timelines, budgets, deliverables and responsibilities.
- Provide regular updates on production progress, risks, decisions and key milestones.
- Confidently navigate feedback, changes and competing stakeholder priorities.
- Manage expectations and communicate challenges early, always bringing considered solutions.
4. Budget & Commercial Management
- Develop and manage production budgets, estimates and cost plans.
- Track project spend and ensure production remains within agreed budgets.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices and financial reconciliation where required.
- Negotiate costs, fees and terms with suppliers, production partners and talent.
- Identify opportunities to deliver efficiencies without compromising the quality or ambition of the work.
- Provide clear visibility of production costs, risks and financial implications to relevant stakeholders.
5. Supplier & Partner Management
- Source, brief and manage production companies, freelancers, suppliers, studios, locations, talent and other external partners.
- Build and maintain a strong network of trusted production partners.
- Select partners based on creative capability, experience, cultural fit, value and production requirements.
- Negotiate scopes, costs, timelines and deliverables with external partners.
- Manage supplier performance and ensure agreed standards are consistently met.
- Develop long-term relationships with partners who can help the agency deliver exceptional work.
6. Production Planning & Logistics
- Develop detailed production schedules, plans and workflows.
- Coordinate the practical requirements of productions including locations, crew, equipment, talent, travel, permits, insurance and catering where relevant.
- Ensure production teams have the information, resources and approvals required to deliver successfully.
- Coordinate multiple moving parts across internal and external teams.
- Anticipate dependencies and potential production issues before they impact delivery.
- Ensure appropriate risk management, safety and compliance processes are in place.
7. Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify production risks, dependencies and potential roadblocks early.
- Develop practical solutions to keep projects moving when circumstances change.
- Manage last-minute changes and unexpected challenges calmly and effectively.
- Assess the impact of changes to scope, timing, budget or deliverables and communicate implications clearly.
- Know when to escalate issues and when to take ownership of resolving them.
- Maintain a proactive approach to risk rather than simply responding to problems as they arise.
8. Agency Collaboration
- Work closely with Traffic, Account Management, Creative, Strategy, Media and other agency disciplines to coordinate delivery.
- Partner with the Traffic Manager to ensure production requirements are accurately reflected in agency workflow and resourcing.
- Ensure production timelines align with broader campaign and channel requirements.
- Bring production thinking into the process early rather than treating production as the final stage of a project.
- Create transparency around production requirements, dependencies and key milestones.
- Contribute to a collaborative agency culture where teams work towards a shared outcome.
9. Culture, Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay across emerging production technologies, platforms, formats and creative techniques.
- Explore new and more effective ways of producing work.
- Bring cultural awareness and relevance into production decisions.
- Consider diversity, representation, accessibility and authenticity across talent, suppliers and production environments.
- Share production learnings, insights and best practice across the agency.
- Continuously improve production processes, tools and ways of working.
- Identify opportunities to make production more efficient, sustainable and innovative.
