We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Senior Manager – Sages to lead our innovative social enterprise, Sages Cottage Farm, located in Baxter. Sages is a unique 38-acre community farm that provides meaningful learning, employment and social opportunities for people with different abilities.

This role is instrumental in leading and overseeing the operational practices and team culture at Sages.

The Senior

Manager - Sages provides strategic and operational leadership to Sages Cottage Farm, driving sustainable commercial growth while delivering high-quality, person-centred NDIS services. The role is responsible for balancing commercial performance, client outcomes, regulatory compliance and organisational sustainability, ensuring Sages continues to thrive as a leading social enterprise within the Wallara Group. Please note that this role does not include oversight of the café or hospitality functions.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:36pm. Flexible working arrangements may be available by agreement.

What you'll need to succeed

- Appropriate qualifications and experience leading operations within a social enterprise, community-based business, disability, health or similarly regulated environment
- Project management and business development experience
- Proven experience with implementing social change initiative
- Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, or similar highly regulated or compliance driven sector
- Highly developed leadership skills with experience managing a diverse workforce
- Skilled at developing networks with key decision makers, internal and external stakeholders and relevant organisations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills




- Strong attention to detail and intermediate computer skills
- Commitment to the principles of WHS, EEO, Cultural Diversity and all relevant legislation

Must haves

- Right to work in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
- Full Victorian driver licence
