This is a senior patient-facing role for someone who can take ownership, work independently and confidently manage patients from their initial enquiry through to consultation, treatment and follow-up. You will work closely with doctors, clinical team and Practice Manager to ensure patients receive a high level of service and that bookings, follow-ups and day-to-day patient coordination run smoothly. This is a multi-site position, with work across Sydney CBD and Parramatta clinics.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the patient journey from initial enquiry through consultation, treatment and follow-up
- Handle patient enquiries via phone, email and CRM with a high level of professionalism
- Provide accurate information regarding consultations, procedures, treatment pathways and pricing
- Coordinate bookings, recalls, treatment plans and follow-up appointments
- Monitor outstanding enquiries and ensure timely follow-up
- Build strong relationships with patients and provide a high standard of personalised service
- Manage more complex patient enquiries and concerns, escalating clinical matters appropriately
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, sonographers and administration staff to coordinate patient care
- Assist with training and supporting junior patient liaison and reception staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and CRM information
About you
- Previous experience in medical reception, patient liaison,
healthcare administration or a similar role
- Experience in a senior or supervisory position will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident dealing with patients, doctors and clinical staff
- Able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership without constant direction
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement
- Experience with medical practice management systems and CRM platforms
- Cliniko, Gentu, ActiveCampaign, Zoho or Front experience is highly regarded
