Moreton Bay Boys' College is seeking a highly capable and motivated Senior People & Culture Advisor to deliver the College's operational human resources function. About the Role

Reporting directly to the Director – Business Operations, the Senior People & Culture Advisor is responsible for delivering the College's end-to-end human resources function and partnering with leaders across the College to ensure best-practice people management and employment compliance.

This permanent 0.6 FTE role offers flexibility for the successful candidate while providing the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the employee experience across the College.

What you will do

- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
- Provide trusted HR advice and support to leaders and staff.
- Coordinate performance management, employee relations and workplace investigations.
- Interpret and apply Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation.
- Maintain HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.




- Oversee HR compliance obligations, including Blue Card and child safeguarding requirements.
- Manage HR systems, workforce reporting and employee records.
- Support workforce planning, organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- All staff are expected to actively contribute to our Safety Citizenship Culture.

What you will bring To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience across the full employee lifecycle within a generalist HR role.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial relations and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing recruitment, employee relations and performance management matters.
- Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
- Experience using HR information systems, preferably Employment Hero or similar platforms.
- The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and maintain confidentiality.
- A collaborative and service-oriented approach aligned to the values of the College.

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline are desirable.
- Current Queensland Blue Card (or ability to obtain one)
