DEECA is seeking a Forest and Fire Operations Officer (FFOO) - Technical Lead Rappel to join the Forest Fire Management Victoria Rappel Crew based in Heyfield, Gippsland. This role blends leadership, forest and land management with specialist emergency response, including helicopter-deployed rappel operations in remote environments.
The successful candidate will lead teams, coordinate field operations and uphold safety and discipline across remote-area bushfire suppression.
