Role Overview
You will be at the heart of our operations and will be responsible for all aspects of installing, repairing and maintaining hydraulic systems and components. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure systems function efficiently and safely. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to our clients, ensuring their machinery and equipment is running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic components and systems including pumps, valves, motors,



cylinders, and hoses according to technical specifications
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical drawings and specifications
- Diagnose hydraulic system issues and carry out necessary repairs or modifications
- Perform safety inspections and preventative maintenance on hydraulic systems and equipment
- Fitment, programming and servicing of truck mounted cranes
- Adhoc machining, component manufacture, as may be required for repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Complete detailed and accurate service records and reports
- Manage your labour productivity and performance to achieve agreed targets

Experience & Qualifications:

- Highly skilled & proven experience as a Fitter from a jobbing workshop or in an industrial or mechanical engineering environment
- Proven solid commitment & dedication within a small-medium private business enterprise
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and manufacturers specifications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem- solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualification
