About Cabarlah Health Centre
Cabarlah Clinic is located within Borneo Barracks, 14km north of Toowoomba. The barracks is home to the tri-service Defence Force School of Signals’ Electronic Warfare Wing and has approximately 250 members. The Clinic provides primary medical, dental, nursing, mental health and physiotherapy services to the base. Clinic staff may be required to work across Cabarlah & Oakey. Standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday.
This role is for Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday day shifts within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
What You’ll Do
Deliver clinical dental services to Defence membersProvide a full range of general dental care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning and preventative careUndertake procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal treatments, periodontal care and minor oral surgeryPromote and maintain oral health through patient education, preventative strategies and ongoing careUse diagnostic tools including dental imaging to support clinical decision-making and treatment planning
What You Bring
Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Dentist with AHPRAMinimum two years’ full-time (or equivalent) post graduate clinical experience, with recent practice within the last five yearsStrong clinical capability across a broad range of general dentistry proceduresCurrent First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificationAustralian Citizenship required for baseline security clearanceCommitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
