Jackson & Cooper Plumbing is seeking a skilled Plumber/Maintenance Plumber to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Plumber/Maintenance Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems whilst maintaining our reputation for excellence and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial properties
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Diagnose plumbing faults using appropriate testing equipment and implement effective solutions
- Fit and assemble plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings using hand and power tools
- Test plumbing systems to ensure they function correctly and meet quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly about work required and timeframes
- Work collaboratively with team members and other trades on job sites
What we're looking for
- A recognised plumbing qualification or apprenticeship completion in plumbing
- Current registration with the relevant plumbing authority in Tasmania
- Understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety requirements
- Solid problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Valid WWVP Card.
