About the role

Tyre Fitter/Mechanic is required for a reputed automotive aftermarket wholesaler and distributor, Thomas Brake Clutch and Tyres based in Marrickville.

Key responsibilities

- Tyre fitting and wheel alignments

- Mechanical work such as brake and clutch repairs

- Machining discs, drums and flywheels

- Receiving and dispatching brakes, clutch and tyres

- Putting brakes, clutch and tyres away in their required locations

- Assisting the sales team in day to day operations

- Assisting with deliveries if required

About you

- Able to work unsupervised with attention to detail

- Mechanical knowledge for the automotive aftermarket (big plus)

- Positive can-do attitude

- Good communication skills

- Current driver's licence (required)

- Mechanical licence not required but a big bonus if licenced

- 1 year mechanical/automotive experience (required)

- Work authorisation for Australia (required)
