About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Horticulturist to join our team. This role involves working across a range of established private gardens, contributing hands-on to their ongoing care, improvement, and presentation.
You will be part of a supportive, tight-knit team where your knowledge and initiative will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and enhancing private residential gardens to a high standard
- Plant identification, care, pruning, and seasonal maintenance
- Soil preparation, mulching, fertilising, and irrigation management
- Assisting with planting design and garden improvements
- Lawn care,
including mowing, edging, and turf health
- Monitoring plant health and identifying pests/diseases
- Safe and effective use of gardening tools and equipment
- Working collaboratively with team members and independently when required
About You
- Formal qualification in horticulture (Certificate III or higher preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in garden maintenance
- Solid plant knowledge and a genuine passion for horticulture
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a small team
- Valid driver’s licence
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
