Johannes Transport is a small, hands-on transport and delivery business looking for a reliable, hardworking offsider to work alongside the owner on a casual/part-time basis.

Every day is different.

The role involves assisting with the collection, removal, transport and delivery of all types of equipment and goods. One day you might be helping with local deliveries around Adelaide, and the next heading on a rural or regional trip to collect or deliver equipment.

This is a hands-on, physical role that would suit someone who enjoys variety, getting out and about, and isn’t afraid of a hard day’s work.

What you’ll be doing

Working alongside the owner, you’ll assist with:

- Loading and unloading equipment and goods

- Helping remove, relocate and deliver a wide variety of items

- Carrying and manoeuvring equipment safely

- Securing and preparing loads for transport

- Local collections and deliveries

- Rural and regional trips

- General hands-on assistance on each job

- Keeping the vehicle and equipment organised

- Providing friendly and respectful service when at customer premises

You will not be required to drive the transport vehicle – this is an offsider position working alongside the owner.

We’re looking for someone who is

- Strong, fit and physically capable

- Hardworking and not afraid to get their hands dirty





- Reliable and punctual

- Practical with good common sense

- Willing to have a go and learn

- Careful when handling customers’ equipment and belongings

- Friendly and respectful

- Comfortable with early starts when required

- Flexible with hours and happy to travel on rural jobs

- Able to work well one-on-one as part of a small business

Experience in removals, transport, warehousing, labouring, construction or other physical work would be helpful, but isn’t essential. A great attitude and robust work ethic are more important.

Hours & Travel

This is a casual/part-time position with hours available each week, however days and hours will vary depending on the work booked.

There are often opportunities for rural and regional trips, so it would be ideal for someone who enjoys travelling and doesn’t need the same routine every day.

This could be a great fit for someone looking for consistent casual work, variety and a genuinely hands-on role.
