Experienced Welder / Boilermaker Wanted

We are a family-owned transport and crane hire business looking for an experienced Welder / Boilermaker to join our workshop team.

This is a hands-on role suited to a tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship and is confident working across a range of transport, heavy vehicle and crane-related equipment.

About the role

You will be responsible for a variety of fabrication, welding, repairs and maintenance work across our fleet and equipment, including:

- General welding and fabrication

- Repairs and modifications to heavy vehicles, trailers and equipment

- Structural and general steel fabrication

- Maintenance and repair work on transport and crane equipment

- Reading and working from drawings where required

- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

- Working independently as well as as part of a small workshop team

About you

We are looking for someone who:

- Has at least 4 years' practical experience as a Welder / Boilermaker





- Has strong MIG welding and fabrication skills

- Is confident working with heavy equipment and steel

- Has a good understanding of workshop safety

- Can work independently and take pride in producing quality work

- Is reliable, hardworking and has a good attitude

- Holds a relevant trade qualification

- Heavy vehicle, trailer or crane experience would be highly regarded
