About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Electrician for the maintenance of Non‑Process Infrastructure. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced mining electrician. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing non‑process electrical and communications infrastructure across surface, open pit, and remote locations, This role is physical, and at times requires working at heights, as well as travelling to remote locations to keep critical infrastructure operating.

Key responsibilities

- Leading day‑to‑day non‑process electrical maintenance activities on site

- Coordinating and overseeing contractors to ensure safe, efficient execution of work

- Carrying out isolations, inspections, audits, and corrective actions

- Fault‑finding and maintaining electrical and communications infrastructure

- Attending remote bush locations to maintain and repair communications hubs when required

- Supporting infrastructure projects and maintenance execution planning

- Ensuring full compliance with statutory, site, and safety requirements

About you

- A Western Australian Electrical Licence (essential)

- Proven experience working in a mining workplace (essential)





- Statutory Supervisor (S26) accreditation (optional) 8:6 Roster (essential)

- Strong hands‑on experience across non‑process electrical infrastructure

- The physical capability to safely carry out field‑based work, including working at heights

- The ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in the field

- Experience with communications systems, cabling, and site communications infrastructure is highly desirable

- Residential employee based in Kalgoorlie working a 5:2:4:3 roster (10‑hour days) preferable

- DIDO 4:3 (10 hour days) Camp accommodation

- FIFO 8:6 ( 12hr days ) Camp accommodation

Qualifications

- Previous experience in Plant maintenance and NPI infrastructure preferred but all applications considered.

- WA Electrical license,

- Comms License,

- Fibre splicing (optional)

- Split system installation (optional)

- Driver's License,

- High Risk License,

- Instrumentation (optional), PLC /Scada Experience of great Benefit,

- HV switching (Optional),

- Police Clearance, Medical, Pass a D&A;, EWP W@H, First Aid,
