We are seeking a Registered Psychologist to join a collaborative allied health team supporting children, families and adults across a range of clinical presentations.
This is a varied role with a strong focus on paediatric psychological assessment and therapy, disability, early intervention and complex needs, with the opportunity to also support adult clients.
About the Role
You will provide evidence-based psychological assessment, therapy and intervention across a diverse caseload, working closely with clients, families, carers and other health professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct psychological, behavioural, social/emotional and diagnostic assessments
- Provide evidence-based psychological therapy and interventions
- Support children aged 0–16, including early intervention for children with disability
- Work with adults experiencing a range of mental health and complex needs
- Develop and implement individualised intervention programs
- Support clients experiencing complex stress and/or trauma
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, educators and other allied health professionals
- Provide guidance and education to parents, carers and other stakeholders
- Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case planning and clinical discussions
About You
- AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
- Experience in paediatric psychological assessment and therapy
- Experience working with children and/or adults with disability
- Understanding of early intervention and evidence-based psychological practice
- Ability to work with clients experiencing complex needs, stress and/or trauma
- Strong communication, interpersonal and report-writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
- Current NSW Driver's Licence
- Working With Children Check and National Police Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
